About Shan

Shan is a Director and Shareholder of the Hereford Group and is now in his 15th year.  Before joining Hereford in 2005 Shan acquired his financial planning and corporate benefit experience with First National Bank, Investec, BoE and Alexander Forbes. Besides Shan’s extensive expertise in assisting individuals in both their pre and post retirement planning needs his knowledge and experience in Corporate and Employee Benefit Solutions spans 23 years. In this area Shan is focused on assisting employers build bespoke solutions from an established benefits plan, or simply getting the most from existing benefit providers. His focus is to assist clients to develop a creative package of benefits to meet their needs and fit their corporate culture on a cost-effective basis.

Shan has a BA in Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Employee Benefits. Shan is also a member of the Financial Planning Institute.
